Satellite Spotting is a space age version of Train or Plane Spotting. It is possible to watch satellites passing over your home town night after night. They look like moving stars of varying brightness. Dozens of satellites can be seen every clear night passing over silently and majestically. We may be completely in the dark down here, but hundreds of miles up, the sun is still illuminating the satellites. Anything larger than a car that is less than 800 miles up can be seen without any binoculars or telescopes. This hobby can be completely free – apart from the few pennies for these books. Each version is available in colour, black & white and E-Book.
